Have a neighbor who asked if I could give her a ride home today after her surgery. They said they would call when she went intro recovery and they did. I was way up in Pinetop and left as soon as they called, was there within 30 min of their call. Upon arrival, I found my friend sitting in the hot sun, by herself & feeling dizzy.😵💫 No one around! They could have at least put her in shade by front door entrance, but instead they wheeled her chair half in parking asphalt and half on entrance sidewalk, leaving her in hot sun! Can't speak for how they treat their patients inside but thought I should put it out there, this is how they say goodbye to their elderly patients after their surgery.
Sitting in the BIG waiting room to be called for my MRI, what I hear is the usual whining of uninspiring music keeping we, the patients, quiet ... one eye open waiting to hear our names called. Suddenly, as if a new day had dawned, a beautiful light full of energy entered the Big waiting room. Now both my eyes were open and to my delightful surprise my name had been called!! Satheesh asked me to follow him for my MRI. Most notable was his engaging and delightful smile. I would have followed him even if he did not call my name. I knew at that moment I was not in the company of the typical expressionless zombies I encounter daily. Satheesh is so friendly so engaging and so smart. I had THE BEST experience during this MRI and laughed so much it lifted my spirits for the rest of the day. Satheesh is also very professional and thorough as well, so you could not ask for a better person to administer the procedure. I know when I meet very truly stunning and special people and it is not often. Satheesh IS that special person. Best experience ever. I wish his family were our neighbors. Salt of the earth. Thanks again Satheesh, you're Making MRI's Great Again!!! God bless you forever! Thank you for being part of the White Mountains. Linda
Horrible experience Monday, 5/12/25. Scheduled for 1:00 pm surgery, checked in at 11:30 as requested, and sat in reception area for almost 2 hours before being taken back to prep area. In this time, others who arrived with or after me were taken back to prep area or told that their procedure had been delayed and were given a new time. I asked receptionist TWICE (at 1 and 1:15 pm) for information, and received NO feedback! When finally taken back at 1:25, I asked the nurse what had happened and was told that she hadn't worked on Friday but I should have bern called, apparently for rescheduling. I still don't know what time was actually scheduled for my surgery nor why there was NO communication with me while I was sitting right in their waiting area. Following this experience, I will being going elsewhere for any out patient surgical proceedure. After completing this review, I scanned others and came across Jon Jones review of a month ago. Fox News is STILL being played continually on the lobby TV. I have worked in the medical field, both for practitioners and insurance providers. There is NOTHING in HIPPA requiring Fox News be continually broadcast in a medical environment. Please provide video that is more neutral or turn off the tv.
I was told it was a HIPAA violation to change the channel on the tv in the waiting room. It had to be on FOX news. Really? A HIPAA violation?

Our experience with Sunrise Ambulatory Surgical Center was really great. My daughter broke her arm which required a reduction. Scheduling was easy, they called twice to confirm and give pre-op instructions. The front desk was friendly and helpful and the surgical staff was excellent. Chance did such a great job with the anesthesia, not too much or too little-just right. Dr. Reagan did a stellar job with the reduction and casting. Everyone was so professional and helpful despite the early morning appointment. My twelve year old was calm and relaxed throughout the whole procedure. Our nurse (Vanessa-I think?) was also so kind and helpful. A broken arm is never fun but the doctors and staff made this procedure much less painful than it could have been.
